And this imo is why Casey has not been fired. It's patience and logic from masai, grass isn't always greener

But in this case Casey sucks

    • Casey has the two best players on the teams support. The only way Casey's option is not picked up is if they do lose in the first round. If that happens Casey wont be the only one leaving too.

He actually has his two best players indifference.

I'd say this is more accurate based on what Kyle said. They like him as a person but if you can bring someone better in no one is going to complain.

Honestly the only move that might piss dd or lowry off would be trading dd or lowry

          • Can we talk about Lowry's habit this month of taking early shot clock contested three pointers?

These shots kill our offensive flow so fucking hard.

He's 8/38 on 3s within the first 8 seconds of a shot clock with a defender within 4 feet. It's safe to say it isn't working.

so 21% of the time it works every time.

                    • Lowry takes a lot of two for one opportunities as well. Obviously not the full story but it at least has added to his attempt total

He does need to cut down on the chucks tho where there isn't a two for one opportunity

Last year his drop off didn't happen until mid January. This year it appears to have happened in December.

In November he was hitting 42% on 3s, 59.5% true shooting, 116 Ortg on 26.8% usage.

In December he hit 34.2% on 3s, 54.3% true shooting, 108 Ortg on 28.0% usage.

He fell off a cliff. Thankfully, DeMar's having the best stretch of his career right now, and Ross has stepped up.

                        • Well, to be honest was his 42% run sustainable? That would have been top 6 in the NBA last year.

34% on the other hand is below average. If he's a below average 3pt shooter, he shouldn't be shooting 8-9 per game.

                            • When 108 ORTG and 28% usage is falling off the cliff, your previous numbers were unsustainable.

When he's shooting that badly, isn't 28% usage a bad thing?
