Or we don't trade Rudy? First 2 months we were shit. If tanking was the direction, we could have just kept Rudy and we would not need to trade anyone away.
Only counterpoint is that it is not clear if MU was trying to tank or not when he trade Rudy.
If he wasn't when he traded Rudy (which was at least as much for financial flexibility), trading Lowry to the Knicks was definitely a tank move.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.
