WTH, Apollo? Leo Rautins (a tall white man) said he walked onto the court right past security showing zero credentials whatsoever. The whole mess started with racial profiling. And it's mired in a cesspool of lies with Masai's reputation unfairly tarnished, until the so-called police can find a face saving way out this mountain of sh*t they created.

Like I said earlier.. this cop wants a big pay day. Otherwise he wouldn't be talking about concussions or serious blows to his jaw. MLSE should just pony up the cash in a settlement and let this go. Masai should not have to worry about this.
Otherwise this can go badly.. for example Masai may not be able to come back to the states (and he needs to for his job). If Masai touched the cop (even as a form of retaliation) he's in the wrong.

Indeed, this is what I'm getting at. If it was a racist act still stand down. People get shot for less than this in the states.
Seems like you're falling into the same type of Trumpian justification that's veering into the realm of the bizarre.... pretty much the same as what's going on in the Sherriff's office. A simple apology to Masai would end this travesty immediately, but they're creating a bigger and bigger pile of deception until they can find a face-saving way out of this turd mountain.

I would still like to see the video of the actual incident before being 100% confident of what happened or what the story is actually about. Seen way too many of these stories reported one way and end up another.

The analogies are getting straight-up crazy. That type of sh*t happens when cops stop a car on highway, or a bunch of perceived-to-be threatening looking young black men are around a store. This was the goddamn NBA championship, in front of 20,000+ people, being viewed by 100's of millions worldwide.

I see all the Republicans are out defending the boys in blue
Cops, A bunch of high school educated guys that chose a badge and a gun over being a welder, probably picked on in school, or were the bully themselves.
the need to constantly defend cops as all things virtuous despite all the evidence to the contrary is something I'll never understand
this is where I differ from other conservatives socially9 time first team all-RR, First Ballot Hall of Forum

Having said that, I still want to see the video of this.

Not sure how you read my post to be a police justification. Pretty big accusation, do explain that bit to me. Thanks.
First off, he should have received a VIP escort to the court from the beginning. Secondly, he never should have been detained. Thirdly, he had his credentials with him. Fourthly, lots of other people (i.e. white) went right past security en masse. Fifthly, there is zero evidence that Masai punched or hit anybody, as is being alleged.
Yet somehow you are believing the police have some type of case to keep this charade going, when they should be apologizing for the 5 points (at a minimum) that I mentioned above. IMO, sounds a lot like a justification for their crazy actions, and grasping at the same phantom straws that the police are.
Hope that explains it.
