      • Game 2 becomes a must win now. Lose that and it's all over.

          • Clifford adjusted having Vucevic act as decoy, he knew from the get go that the Raptors will concentrate their defense on his big guy so he allowed both Fournier, DJA and even Isaac hang around the perimeter. Raptors collapsed on Vuc leaving the shooters wide open.

This noob coach never adjusted. He rolled out a three guard line up with Powell/ Kyle and Van Vleet out there.

if you still dont see this kind of coaching blunder then you watched a different game.

Kyle showcased a one man shit show but Kawhi/ Green/ Pascal and Gasol were more than capable to take over yet these four guys were load managed because Nurse still thinks his team is playing a back to back.

            Fuck you Nurse

              • Orlando took it to the Raps today, no doubt about it, they played the better game from what I was watching. They have a bunch of playoff newbs who came into the #2 seed house and outperformed the higher ranked team. They wanted it a lot more.

It's just funny that with a whole "new team", the results and analysis remain the same - Lyle sucked and the coaching was awful. Maybe DeRozan and Casey were not the problems? All I can say is that if we get ousted vs the Magic, everyone not named Spicy P needs to go.

                  • I'm mad Toronto lost. But look at how they lost.
They missed wide open shots all night.
They are always a little turnover prone, but tonight they were flat out bad.
The opposition couldn't miss. Guys who can't even crack 30% from 3 were draining um like Curry.

It just goes to show you what pressure does. Happened in Philly too. The team with zero to lose, and a hard working mindset will always over achieve in a situation like this. The Raps have a literal HEAP of expectation on them. They came out tight as fuck.....they played uncharacteristically....and well, as per usual, the refs are in playoff mode (thats a euphemism for them fucking toronto over whenever they can.....but thats nothing new)

Basically, it's a tough series, but I think this game is behind them, they will be ok.

Noticed that Raptors in the regular season cannot hold leads on most occasions because of Nurse’s experimentations of his rotation.

Another thing, Can someone tell me if they have seen in this first game any new strategy that this coach was bragging about he was trying to keep in his safe and willing to roll out when it matters?

Lowry shit on the bed but a close game like this would still fall on the coach’s onus
One reason we can’t hold leads is because our defensive rebounding is soft AF since we lost JV. We can’t stop runs when teams crank up the intensity to desperately try and get back into games. That’s when you just need some basic toughness and physicality... what JV brought.

                        • just finishing watching... wish I didn't. wtf man..
Kawhi was good but to few minutes. Pascal was scoring but on a HUGE volume of shots
I liked how marc played. good hustle and hit big 3s when we were struggling.
now the bad wtf Lowry 0bpts isn't ideal but how can you get roasted by Augustin e and goddammit MCW!?.
what was up with the rims? had like 8 shots honing and out. we couldn't hit a 3 to save or life in the 1st half and had tons of open looks. this team is straight cursed. no production from the bench and FVV and Jodie meeks outplayed Lowry. his biggest moment was taking a Terrence Ross knee to the balls.
it wouldn't be raptors basketball if it was easy...
To be the champs you got to beat the champs

                          • The guys should feel embarrassed by this loss. Especially Kyle.

JV for all those positives he brings however can be a defensive liability. I think the consistency of rotation has been the achilles of this team ( injuries or no injuries ), it actually came from the horse’s mouth a few days ago. He experimented with his line ups. But it seems it backfired on him.
