The biggest bummer about G1 isn't so much the worry about the Magic. I think they handle them, but games like that spell doom for you when you play better teams and the margin for error is tighter. If they can only play a little better then its not going to end well for the team.

Early story of the playoffs league wide is the better shooting team wins. Quick maths says Magic expected 3PM in game one was 10, Raps was about 14. In reality Magic hit 14 and Raps hit 12. Magic are going to play tough defense around the basket and try to limit some of the Raps easy bucket in transition. When they do that and Michael Carter Williams is hitting 3s they are a good team.

Regardless, plenty of things the Raps can control which would have turned that game around, I think they do in game 2.
