  • Vlad Jr's debut (No...wait!! It's basketball related)

Ok...maybe only slightly basketball related. But I figured, with all of the high anxiety and sweaty palms building up ahead the first game against Philly, it might be nice to try to cut the tension a bit by sitting back and watching the kid get his big league debut tonight. Feel free to cheer along. As well, mods, feel free to banish this wherever you see fit.

As a long time Expos fan, my Dad would take me to Jarry Park as a youngster, great to see young Vlad Jr. make his MLB debut and get his first hit (a 10th inning lead-off double) in an exciting 4 - 2 10 inning Jays win. Made a couple of nice fielding plays.

Fun game, I was surprised there was only 28,000 fans in attendance though

                  Vlad Jr.
                  Mathews
                  Kawhi signs in the summer

                  what a treat.

but lets focus on the present task at hand

Basketball related again! Vlad screws the C*^#tics! Youngest Blue Jay ever to hit a home run knocking Danny Ainge out of the record books.

Ainge was a Blue Jay then though.
And Vladdy's was a no doubter, maybe that will get him going.
