Of course, I can see the negative consequences of that on both the teams. I'm sure with us being that enthusiastic, the boys felt a bit rushed. They need to be composed and hold their own.
I'm sure they can do it! I'm sure they'll embrace this much love. It's actually new territory for all of them. From being the Toronto team that was overshadowed by the Leafs, to being the center of attention - its a lot to take in all at once.
We still got this!Raps in 6!!!!!!

And Ross wasn't even guarding DWill that much today... let alone enough to say he 'shut him down'. In my opinion anyway.

Being in the building for my first playoff experience was unreal. Met Tim Leiweke before the game, took in the outdoor festivities then work my way inside where I proceeded to lose my mind. I don't know what it was like on TV but in the arena it was electric!
Also D will is a fucking bitch. The refs were garbage and we let them know it. I have no voice right now but I couldn't be more proud of the city and the team. Lets get game 2!Sunny ways my friends, sunny ways

Masai ujiri is a nice person that's why i was surprised, probably the intensity of the playoffs made him say that lol.

Oh. I also think ppat should come in to replace Amir. And have Amir go in for JV and give him some time at the 5. Let him battle with kg a bit and save his ankles by letting ppat chase pierce around.Sunny ways my friends, sunny ways

The crowd was epic and everything everyone hoped it would be and more. Very jealous I wasn't in it!
Interestingly it was the youngest player on the raptors who came out and thrived off the crowds energy the most. JV was full of energy and emotion in that first Q where as it seemed like some other players were nervous and tentative.Last edited by BigCamB; Sun Apr 20, 2014, 12:42 AM.

Hopefully the coaching staff make the right adjustments for game 2.
Remember how Lenny Wilkins made some pivotal adjustments in the 2001 76ers series? Hopefully DC can make some impactful adjustments as well.I know this may be a bit controversial but I think the Raptors have proven that they're the best team in the NBA from Canada
