  • I will also point out that judging by the tickets still on sale for game three, the Warrior won't have a huge home court advantage either. There are better seats available for game three in San Fran than game five in Toronto.

    • Just read that Steph Curry did not attempt a shot in the 4th quarter. Klay didn’t play the last 5 minutes...that hurts

Disagree. The Raptors need him to score. If Lowry didn't average 20ppg in the Milwaukee series, the Raps would've lost that series.
He had problems beating anybody (even centers) on dribble drives. It seemed he was in foul hunting mode vs trying to score. Also most of his fouls were reaching in type or slapping at the ball. He also tried to block a layup. I say aggressive D is fine but don't reach-in, slap at the ball. It's not just this game he was in foul trouble.

        • The concessions stands and merch stalls pay kawhi's salary if people using the 20 min break to get food/merch or use the facilities and get held up until a break in play on their return is the reason our team couldn't get a stop or not commit 6 turnovers and give up an 18-0 run in 6 minutes and 25-2 run if you count the last 3 minutes of 2nd; we're in big trouble here.

The crowd was great, the game was great, Kawhi will have film on the trap + blitz unconventional defence Kerr cooked up and he might be able to score 34 and Dish 7-10 dimes to go with his 14 rebs next game.

And also, Stephen A is right, the arena was half empty to start the 3rd. There was no energy in the arena to start the 3rd. Smh. Stay in your seats and cheer for your team.

Jack Armstrong has called out Raptors fans about this in the past as well.
perhaps MLSE ought to have more restrooms and concession stands .

That doesn't mean the calls were fair. If things were called down the middle the fouls would have looked lopsided towards the Raptors. They weren't rewarded for aggression on offense and were penalized for aggression on defense. Why isn't a foul a foul?
Because it's the NBA. Perfectly fair calls without star treatment and makeup calls doesn't exist in the league.

It's not like we were down 15 free throws is all I'm saying. The refs may have put us behind the eight ball, but we dug our own graves yesterday.

Can confirm that in Calgary its not physically possible to get food and use the washroom in one intermission. Unless you get a head start on the crowd.

I knew you were going to say 'because its the NBA'. That's not good enough. The league shouldn't be in the business of handing out competitive advantages.

To defeat the Warriors I don't know if they can do it if they also must defeat the refs.

                  • Raptors have had multiple games this year where the crowd is flat at the beginning of the second half because no one is at their seats. The team worked hard for home court advantage, but no one is there to cheer them at the bgiining of the second half, which is a time GS usually comes out gunning after hashing it out at half time.

If you consider how high the prices were on the lower bowl, if someone paid say, 10,000 for their seat, and miss the first 6 minutes of the 3rd waiting in line for a beer, that beer just cost $1,250. (Which is probably close to what they're selling the beer for anyway lol , but you know what mean..)

                    • Blaming the refs is a cop out. Raps had every chance to win and blew it.

                      • We're merely spectators. We have no responsibilities and so therefore no cop out. The refs fucked with the momentum of the game many times, its just stating facts. Could they have overcome if it they hit more shots? Sure. Should they have to deal with this at this level? No.

                        • To make the finals should earn respect with the league. To present lopsided officiating looks bad on the league.

it's not gonna change ...I'm sure Toronto isn't the only arena with lots of empty seats after halftime

let's see how hardcore the golden State fans are
