We play in the league as it is, not in the league we wish it would be. You have to play through bad calls. It's just facts, it happens every year, and expecting otherwise is pure fantasy.
Maybe you were a little overconfident about our victory. We are not good enough to play like shit and defeat a dynastic squad like the Warriors.
We need to execute better on multiple fronts, and if we do so, we can still win this series. (Depending of course on whether KD returns and what his impact is.)
But what I'm telling you is its bad for the product to see lopsided officiating like that and it's games like this one where the tinfoil hats squad comes out. There is more than one reason why the NFL is a superior league to the NBA but one of them for sure is the officiating is much better overall. This league could learn a thing or two.

Basketball is the hardest sport to officiate IMO. But its everywhere. Do you remember the non call that allowed LA to advance to the Superbowl? Or how about the asinine calls going against Vegas Knights and Avs this year in favour of the Sharks.
That way, bad reffing would be called on the carpet since you would have to say you clearly saw something that never happened on tape. FAR too many judgement calls in the NBA ....

Kyle Lowry can't be fouling out in these types of games. Period. People can whine about Brothers all they want but Lowry was also in foul trouble the other game.
He also fouled out in a must win game against Milwaukee in G3.
And oh, they need him to score. 9 points in G1, 7 last night. Inexcusable.
Unfortunately the third leading scorer....

How the hell did he have time to look for a house during this run? LOL
picture any of the annoying tasks in life we all do (moving, shopping, wash the car, laundry, taxes, yard work, cleaning) and then consider that these guys dont do any of those things

And that missed goaltending ....
anyway .....18 to 0 run ..that's why we lost
Tony Brothers shouldn't officiate in the playoffs, let alone the Finals.

IT is the referees job to call the games fair.
Why TF should we give them a pass for NOT doing their job?
Our players didn't play well that's a given, and credit to GSW's D or their game plan,
but you can't blame our players for not being 'good enough',
they did their best despite the challenge that is a well oiled champion team with a very good coach.
Let's stop with this defeatist attitude and GIVE RESPECT to your team, for crying out loud.

For my take on the officiating, the end result of the fouls doesn't mean as much as the way they came. And anyone who read that article earlier this year about Donaghy and crooked NBA reffing should know that the refs can EASILY dramatically impact the game in the early stages with fouls that handcuff a team and then go ahead and balance out calls in a less impactful way later on to cover up any perceived bias. Last night was one of those classic Raptors games where we got bent over on the momentum calls and with early piling up of calls on our important players. Some calls the refs were forced to call, sure... others, way too many, were just unquestionably super suspect and had the effect to prevent us from cracking the game open in the way we were on the verge of. Absolutely, we didn't execute in any way shape or form that we needed to in the end, however we were fully doing so until about the 15th time we got effed by the officiating.
