Need a big Lowry game. I don’t care about his scoring as much as some, but 1 rebound and 2 assists + foul trouble last game was unacceptable. He sets the tone for this team, and we need him to be the steady hand at both ends

If management wants him to sit to me it signals that KD isnt as close as we have been led to believe. They don't want to risk losing him for the series. If KD was ready to come back game 4 i think you play klay. If his hamstring gets worse you still have KD and Curry going forward. But is KD isnt coming back game 4 or even 5 or longer you want to make sure you dont lose klay for the series.

I would do the same if I were management.
They should understand how important it is to take care of their players.
That fun guy on the other team is a perfect example.
They can't mess with KD's health and risk losing him in the summer for that reason.

the thing is klay wants to play by all accounts. so what if GSW holds him out they drop this game and end up losing the series. How bad of a taste does that leave in klay's mouth this summer when he enters free agency?

How about if Klay plays and aggravates that injury and they end up losing anyway.
He risks having his summer recuperating and rehabbing and lowering his value.
