The words were overstated and unduly harsh. The headline and presentation left the impression that we were commenting on Durant’s season, career or even character. We were not. We were referring only to the Memphis series.

The fact the headline and presentation left that impression with so many readers is proof that we failed.

I like to imagine Durant watching the second and third quarters of the Raptors-Nets game yesterday and thinking "man that team would be fun to play with" then turn off before the last quarter and just hear that we won later.

KD seems to be in the same situation as VC in Toronto. A superstar without enough talent around him to succeed. OKC is too cheap and Raptors management was inept.
