Meh, it will all go away, by next game. It's just today's narrative in the nba soap opera. Toronto is taking our lumps today, and frankly rightly so. We can make all the justifications in the world about turnovers, excitement, kd killing us etc and they're all trueand they all did contribute.

Bottom line, large majority of toronto fans were acting like dick heads for a long enough amount of time before changing their tune that everyone noticed it. The first 15-20 seconds were NOT polite applause go kd go chants.

so we take our lumps, as any fanbase would. We broke an unwritten rule of sports etiquette when we were caught up in the moment.
The 24 hour news cycle has taken over....
Todays news is all about Durant and his operation and where he is going to play next year.and where Davis and Irving are going to play next year. The NBA media circus needs new oxygen every 24 to 48 hours and a byproduct of this is that the reaction to Durants unfortunate exit from this years playoffs has been relegated to the digital dustbin of history. The blah blah blah classless... yada yada yada classless stuff is pretty much done.

No one likes to see players go down (I wouldn't shed a tear or have an erg of remorse if someone had drilled Sean Avery into the next galaxy... Head first. of course ...before he became irrelevant and left the NHL.. but I wouldn't cheer out loud .. silently yes )

        But we digress.

Heres a contrarian view and a bit of a defense for the incident. I'd venture to say most of the fans in the building were wired. They might have had the odd adult social beverage starting at noon. People do stunning things when, as the police line goes, "alcohol was involved." Its a reflex reaction and when your drunk those reactions can be visceral. Its done. Its over. We move on to Thursday.

l was even afraid that a riot or violence will ensue after the game had we won.

              • Just watched the Durant injury for the first time on tv. When it was live I was in a bar. 70% of the crowd definitely cheered after it was apparent he was hurt.
