This game is being framed as a Hollywood "win for the gipper" game. Do it for Kevin. Do it for Oracle.

Eww. Sounds kind of desperate, trying too hard and guilty... all at the same time. lol. Dubs are an emotional mess right now. Raps need to go in there with a cold-blooded executioner's mentality: nothing personal Dubs - just doing our job. Can't think of anybody more perfect to lead them, than Kawhi.

I once watched a World Cup soccer game with a couple of guys form work from South America, I believe circa 2006. One of them at some point in the pre-game said "man, there's gonna be a lot of 'catimba' on this one". I didn't know what the word meant so I asked him.

He said there was no english word that really captured the meaning, but basically it's when a team (typically the desperate one), tries to use all kinds of distraction, emotional warfare, in-game shenenigans, any bullshit tactic (outside the normal game x's and o's) to try to throw the other team off their rhythm before and/or during the game.

The lead up to this game reminded me of that. It's like everyone wants to talk about every sappy emotianal bullshit now on the lead up to the game rather then actual ball. "Eww" has also been my reaction to a lot of the talk surrounding this game.
