MASSIVE game, every possession was nuts, people hated KD, people knew the injury story, many of the cheers were for the turnover, many of the cheers were a guy who was going off that game and these people lost themselves in the moment. Soon after, as you said, there was "KD, KD" and cheers.
The whole controversy after was media fueled and Toronto fed into it with all the "get well KD" cards and giving to his charity and maybe even buying his mom a pedicure it got ridiculous.
