You can't have your cake and eat it too.
If you want shorter term two year deals it will be MORE expensive, because the tradeoff for long term security is short term $.For still frame photograph of me reading the DeRozan thread please refer to my avatar

Bendit wrote: View PostIt's not so much a skills thing as much as it's a size one. His listed size is 6' 9"/235 lbs. This is a classic tweener sizing and was a consideration in his drafting. He can be a Shane Battier/glue type/important piece on a good team but imo could not go up against top flight PFs or SFs for any substantial time. The great character person intangible makes him even more important to be retained.

NoPropsneeded wrote: View PostWhat? the league is getting smaller and smaller 2Pat is much bigger than your run of the mill PF these days. He easily weighs more than 235, dude is built like a brick house. He doesn't seem like a tweener to me at all, he's a natural mobile 4 that has the potential to guard 3 and 4's effectively.
His mobility is his biggest asset. It makes him a good hedge man, and defender on big 3s or stretch 4s.

2PAT has alright size but he's not much bigger then the usual PF like you're stating"Both teams played hard my man" - Sheed

white men can't jump wrote: View PostI don't know about that. His size is pretty average, including his strength. He is fairly strong, but not overpoweringly so where he actually has much of a power game or great ability to bang down low. I definitely wouldn't say he's built like a brick house. He does struggle to guard low-post PFs with strength, and he does struggle to consistently box out players with size.

I also think Amir could be a perfect sixth man.
But can one of them be a starter on a contender?
Amir is a defensive specialist who excels at every part of the game, including the ones the boxscore doesn't count, except for scoring.
I think Amir/Brook Lopez or Amir/Al Jefferson is a title front court."Bruno?
Heh, if he is in the D-league still in a few years I will be surprised.
He's terrible."

In saying that though I'll always keep 3 teams available; Knicks, Kings and Pistons. They're dumb enough to do it.
