Yes a very good game with time for the bench players to get floor time to solidify their patterns and understanding of each other's play. You can see the team is improving over the months. Time to punch their ticket this November for the next level and nail their entry into the final round.
I have to give Canada credit . They came out with this Stifling Defense and didn't let up .. Take away that fluke half time shot and they only allowed 47 points ..Pangos was amazing and is a great floor general .

    Forgot that Canada played tonight…

Watching presently on replay on SN.

Just an absolute drubbing… Canada was up 33-7 at the end of the first, and it continued like that most of the way. Olynk was lights out from 3. Pangos, Ejim played very well. Edey looked great when he got in… The whole team just played so well, absolutely smothering their opponent. Looking like that brand that Nick wants to play of brutally stifling coverage. Easier against this competition. Man would it be something else to see the Raps beat NBA competition in this fashion. Lol

If anyone was worried about Shai not showing up for this one… I think Canada was confident they didn’t need him.

They went on to win 106-50 and remain undefeated with a massive margin of error in the point differential department.

Knicks finalizing a 4 year $120 million contract extension with RJ Barrett

This is great for team Canada. RJ has contract certainty and can play in the Olympics without issue.

Does anyone know why he wouldn't choose to play for the Cameroon national Bb team?
Maybe he thinks that other than Siakam, Cameroon doesn't have much chance on the world stage to win a medal while France does.

Or maybe he thinks about moving there in the future.

Crazy that Embiid wants to play for a country he never even lived in more than Canadians who grew up in Canada.

    Not scared.
He can't even play a full season in the NBA.

Nationalism seems to be dying in some western countries especially Canada so why would Canadians feel proud to represent their country due to simple geographical location?! I am hoping that somehow thru Masai's Giants of Africa foundation that some talent would trickle back to Canada via refugee or assistance claim & we manage to have our very own Giannis who would actually be very appreciative of the country of Canada much like for example Olympian gold medalist Daniel Igali was & countless of other athletes.
You’re basically describing the Canadian men’s national soccer team. They beat Canada basketball to the punch and made it to the world’s biggest stage. Way ahead of schedule and way above expectations. No excuses. John Herdman is an amazing coach, recruiter and culture builder.

He is just doing what NBA players always do ... He is going on a stack team and so it is easier to win ..
Maybe Pascal gave him that elbow for abandoning Cameroon.

    Embiid, the broken-faced Frenchman.
