Stauskas sure didn't look like he was preparing for the monumental 76ers upcoming season when he was sitting in a suit with cabbie cheering for the raptors in may

      • The United States has set 10 of their 12 roster spots for their 2016 Olympic team with the final two spots reserved for Kyrie Irving and LeBron James to make a final decision on whether they will participate.

The following ten players are confirmed to participate.

        Kevin Durant
        Klay Thompson
        Jimmy Butler
        Carmelo Anthony
        DeMarcus Cousins
        DeAndre Jordan
        Kyle Lowry
        DeMar DeRozan
        Draymond Green
        Paul George

Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard were amongst likely participants who have withdrawn.

Wow Paul George wants to play after such a bad experience last time ... Let me get this straight ... Carmelo hasn't given a Knick fan 82 games in awhile and he wants to play for team U.S ... You have 5 guys who logged a lot of playoff minutes on that team

Canada's senior men's basketball team needed overtime to defeat Italy on Sunday, escaping with a 74-71 win.

Khem Birch led Canada to the victory, coming off the bench to lead the team in points with 13, adding 11 rebounds. Tyler Ennis added 11 points and eight assists in the win.

The game was tied 61-61 after regulation, before Canada pulled away in the extra frame.

With the win, Canada moved to 3-1 on their five-game exhibition tour, with their final game against Puerto Rico coming on Wednesday.

The tour is working as a tune-up for Canada's last-chance Olympic qualifying tournament next month in Manila
