Nicholson got into the coach's doghouse due to lack of defensive effort. Sounds like he did a bit better after the coaching change, but overall lack of defensive effort is probably a disqualifier for the Raptors unless the offensive side is outstanding, which it's not for Nicholson.Comment

Nicholson's perceived lack of defensive effort is a deal killer. Casey tends to bury those types at the end of the bench a la Anthony Bennett.Comment
