I doubt that Giannis is gonna play that game or in the qualifying tourney. Going from a deep playoff run to playing even more ball with not much rest in between doesn't sound smart. Then again Giannis is a pretty loyal guy so I guess its a possibility
Well The Bucks advanced so woot woot, the road to the Olympics is open!

Let's hope Canada has a team that can take advantage. It would be outstanding to make it back to the olympics.

            True.

But Greece still has 7 ft 3 240 lbs Georgios Papagiannis & he might be difficult to handle but I'm sure Nurse will come up with something.

              • Why is it so hard to find any info on this tournament? all I want to know is who are they playing against(besides Greece), format, dates and what channel is it on? if this was a hockey tournament I probably would've found a bunch of infos already not to mention it would probably be on commercials a million times a day.

I only know Greece is one of the teams they're playing against because of the posts above.

Not really a lot of studs. Is Wiggins our best player? I don't think this will be an easy tournament. I think Turkey will be the toughest out. I would have said Greece, but Giannis is going to be too busy trying to win a chip.

For draft junkies, we might get to see Sengun up close.

Not the full contingent, but 7 NBA’ers + Nurse still has to be the class of that qualifying field, by a wide margin. Especially with Giannis not likely.

It is nice to see Andrew Nembhard at camp and it is his draft year .. That is a no no or usually an excuse for players to say no .. No Brady Heslip always loved he said yes every time Canada called .

Eight NBA teams represented altogether. There are a few guys that could have breakout games. Barrett has previous FIBA experience, as does Wiggins. I think we can trust Nurse to get the most out of these guys.

They don't have chemistry going for them cause it seems a lot have never played together ..

Nembhard feels like a Masai type of 2nd round pick or undrafted signing. Would not be surprised to see him at training camp.

Not a bad way to try out for a team. Spend a week in training camp then bust your ass in international play for a guy who has deep roots there.
