We have a lot of Brooks type of players on the roster but Tristian's big body to compact these Euro bigs would help more .. We can agree the more the better .
I need to re look at the roster of who to take out though. Olynk would be nice too. I mainly like Birch in the place of Anthony Bennett

We've got several non NBA guys we could drop from the roster to make room.

Boucher is also an option for the Olympics, he's under contract and should be healthy by then.

Not so sure about Boucher's availability. Olympic basketball starts on July 25th. The gold medal game is August 7th. The last day to guarantee is Boucher's contract is August 8th.

Free agency start date is August 2nd. Raps could allow Chris to become a free agent sometime in early August to free up cap space. Or they could just leave him hanging to give them more flexibility. It would be risky for him to play, in either case.

I wonder Nurse seeing Wiggins up close and coaching him may influence any trade possibilities with the Warriors or discourage .
There were definitely some pluses but also minuses, typical for a high usage role player (who still has $65 million dollars owed for another 2 years).

Several players who didn't play or played well.

              - Doorenkemp didn't even play last game.
              - Bennet was bad on both ends of the floor, saw only 5 minutes before he was pulled.
              - Trey Lyles was soft on D & I really don't want to see him take another fadeaway jumper.
              - Nicholson meh.

I would assume Mulder is also expendable. So basically we can free up more roster spots than we would possibly need, so if any of the NBA players that sat this out become available we can slot them in without issue.

0% chance we don't guarantee Boucher's contract. He's one of our most valuable assets (cost vs production) and if we needed to free up cap space we would trade him, not just let him walk, that would be the dumbest thing ever.

Boucher sat out because his knee was still bothering him, if it is feeling better he could suit up at the end of July.

If he needed assurance he won't get cut if he gets hurt I'm sure Nurse could make that happen.

                    I disagree on Mulder.

He is a 3 point specialist & when left alone he made that bucket.

He also played aggressively on the defensive end.

                    he is a keeper.

Eh, he's a guard and we have a bazillion of them. If Brooks said he wanted to play Mulder would be gone.

If a big wants to play I think Doornekamp is the 1st man out for sure.

Team Canada won by playing small using their best talent available. Not too difficult to make room for Brooks on the 3 spot while moving RJ or Wiggins to the 2 & 4 spot if they all happen to share the floor together.

Yeah either Doorenkemp or Bennet will be the first to go. They will have to show Nurse a little something more if called upon in the next 1 or 2 games cause otherwise they won't see the floor at all in the finals against Turkey or Greece.

Online CBC. If you have the Gem app, it’s on there. Otherwise probably just stream from the CBC website.
