      • So brutal. Most of the NBA big guys have legit excuses (injuries or free agents). Real disappointed about Wiggins and Stauskas not there. They've had the last month and a half off FFS.
Nice to see Ennis back at least.

2.5 NBA players if you include Joel Anthony (god bless his soul).

            • Cory Joseph is the only Canadian that wear his flag on his sleeve, glad to see Ennis is in too and some vet leadership with Joel Anthony....but Trey Lyles, Nik Staukas and Andrew Wiggins have no excuses...no draft, playoff or free agency conflict holding them back yet chose to skip out.....shameful. Considering the tryout roster is mainly euro/d-league/NCAA players...pretty shocked to not see Myck Kabongo involved.

              • Is Shai Alexander really from Hamilton? Never heard of him but it says he went to my old high school - though it's more of a sports academy these days. Either way, he's pretty young so good for him.

                • RJ Barrett is like 15. And with that roster, he might make the team...

If there is a position on this roster that is pretty stacked, it's point guard with Joseph, Ennis, and Phil Scrubb (very capable). No need for a fourth one. A shout out to these 19 guys for their dedication to the cause.

Canada is a long shot but this qualifier in the Philippines is still Canada's best shot at making the Olympics into the 2030s as future FIBA qualifiers will exclude Canadian NBAers and NCAA players for the portions that occur during the season.

                    • I'm very dissapointed. These guys that are sitting out all talked about playing for canada when they were getting drafted into the league. I for one say fuck em, if we somehow still qualify don't invite them to the Olympics
