Memphis has been busy and I'm liking what they are doing putting good, young players around Ja. Winslow is a nice piece that fits their grit and grind style of play along with Crowder and JV. Excited to see this team play.

Latest rumours are that Crowder will end up in OKC. They are working on making that Iggy/Miami trade a 3-way with OKC where Gallo also ends up in Miami.

If I'm the raptors..there are 3 guys I try 2 get 2 improve my bench..aron baynes, josh hart, jae crowder...I know u don't use that much of bench in playoffs..but can u trust OG, Terrence Davis, McCaw in big roles, OG and Terrence Davis are keepers..McCaw, stanley, hollins, Boucher, Miller, hernadez not so...there is gonna b time when u need that spark in the playoffs when everyone else is not going..and some of these guys gotta bring it and I just dont c it...Honestly I thought OG was gonna take that huge step like siakim, still wating patiently..cross my fingers.

The Raptors went with a 7-8 player rotation for the most part in the playoffs last year I think. So you'd be replacing one of Norm or Serge with one of those guys...I don't think there is a real improvement there worth making, but you never know with Masai.

Yeah, trading a Stanley Johnson type does nothing for the playoffs. Playoff top 7 is set and the 8th guy better be Terrence Davis. That's 8 good players who are also all playing great together. Nurse's defense is peaking this year because it's the second year with it - that's why it's better than last season in spite of losing Kawhi and Danny Green. Throw another guy in there for the last few weeks of the season and he won't be able to play on a string like the current guys. Being able to play that way just won the last 2 minutes of last night's game - against an EC playoff opponent.

I'm 100% fine with the top 8 guys on the roster.

Every game against a +.500 record should give us all a clear view of where our team is at. Every game we are up 10-15pts, the bench comes on and we are down 8-15pts.

EVERY FUCKING TIME! Last night we got lucky, and starters bailed the team out.

We need a better bench. I understand we are without Gasol and Norm and that adds depth. The Pacers were without Warren.

Use those picks and attach it to Mc Caw’s and SJ’s contract to get some kind of help

Woj pointed out that two of the teams with cap space this summer just chewed some up with trades. Atlanta and .Memphis. Going to be tough for free agents to get paid this summer.

This is an interesting angle because of Fred, Marc and Serge. If the cap space around the league sort of vanishes, the Raptors could bring all three back for reasonable values since we have their bird rights. But we could also initiate sign and trades, if we want to get some thing back for them and move in a different direction. I could see Masai giving Marc and Serge 1+1 year contracts, with that second year unguaranteed or a team option. And for Fred, my hope is we can bring him back around $20M or less (ideally less).

So even if the Raps do nothing, just having teams with cap space use up their cap space is a bonus.
