to be honest, this is kind of the way I originally expected the raps to look in a lot of games this year. the early season may have been a mirage.

Early success was because of high energy defense. That is usually unsustainable for long periods of time, especially in an 82 game season. It takes a lot out of you to play like that consistently. Mix that with the shooting slump and you got a bad time.

which is reassuring, because hes always been the engine in the past, and I trust he'll figure it out.

DanH's favorite impact stats (e.g. RPM, PIPM, etc...) are showing the decline. The thing is, we don't need Lowry to be the engine. We need him to bust his butt on defense.... every possession. That's how this team, this year, wins games. This team needs to generate a % of offense from defense.

I think Kyle thought this season would be the Lowry & Siakam show, where he would put up big scoring numbers again and rest of defense like the Ride or Die days. Nope. His lazy ass defense is being exposed.

I don't know about 11 teams but they are Top 5 in East clearly. Bucks, Sixers, Celtics, Heat and then Raptors. I don't see them getting out of first round this year.

This offense is getting nothing outside the restricted circle area...They certainly don't look like a team that wants to compete, never mind winning. All jump shots, looks like half the LAC points are lay-ups or dunks.
