Pretty sure the Siakam injury happened late in the 4th when he tried to dunk on Drummond. That was an awful landing.

Now have had significant/multi game injuries to every one of the team's top 7 guys and it's only December.

Yikes, these are injuries that will require long term lay off especially the groin and the hamstring.

As far as Powell, the subluxation of the same shoulder is very concerning even though there is a long gap in between. He may eventually require surgery as a long term plan if the rotator cuff is worn out, having sustained the same injury before. For now, the Partial dislocation takes 3-4 months just for healing and may take more time for rehabilitation.

The loss of the three is very significant. This team is not winning a Championship. This is all about 2021 with Siakam as the piece to hang on to...he is the complementary player to a bonafide superstar whoever that is.

2018-19 was a very very special season, hang on to those memories because it may take awhile again to reach that point

        Go Raptors !

Let's slow down here guys, this doesn't mean we are toast or that we are going to sell and tank.

Fred should be back soon. Thomas not too long after. Lowry, Fred and OG are still better than half the East all by their lonesome, and we've seen that our young depth can be fun and effective. More minutes for Davis and RHJ and Boucher is a good thing. Serge having to play the starting C minutes is not great but he looked pretty rejuvenated against Detroit when he stepped in so maybe we see some improvement from him, and with us lacking a scorer we should get him the ball a lot (his offence tends to feed his defence sometimes). We'll probably see some special Lowry games. And we get to see if Fred can step back into that scorer role he did alright in early in the season and while Lowry was out.

I do think we'll be seeing a LOT of three point attempts for the Raptors while Siakam and Marc are out. Offence will be a grind. Defence could definitely struggle at times without Marc. But not all is lost, and we shouldn't react like it is. Expect some .500 ball for a while, but that's OK. Unless Nurse pulls off more miracles (and this would not exactly be shocking at this point).

              Here is the next month:

              Wizards
              Dallas (No Luka)
              Indy (No dipo)
              Bos
              Bos
              OKC
              CLE
              MIA
              BKN
              POR
              CHARLOTTE
              SAS
              OKC
              WASH
              MINNY
              ATLANTA

We don't know what indefinitely means and there are definitely some winnable games in there. Not time to panic.

Serge and Kyle start the season off playing terrific, they get injured. Fred has played well all season, he gets injured and now Powell, Gasol and Pascal who have all played really well gets injured...

Grange is saying the Siakam injury is a mild strain and the Raptors are exercising caution but he expects him back first. Might be some good news. Maybe a Christmas miracle!

I'm looking forward to an extended look at some of our end of the bench pieces.
Maybe the cream will rise to the top.
Some extended rest for Siakam isn't the worst news.

there's a bit of good news at least. i'm visiting my folks in ontario over xmas and splurged on getting the old man and i tickets to the OKC game. 8th row behind the raps bench, total homer-marge-bowling ball scenario. woulda been a bit disappointing seeing four of the top rotation players in suits

It's early but playoff seeding may slip now and that means a tougher first round and second if they get there
