  • Game# 34: Cleveland Cavaliers 97 - Toronto Raptors 117

Was a pretty good year to be a Raptors fan wasn't it? NBA seasons don't fit well inside a calendar year, but 2019 was one year that Raptor fans will remember for a very long time.

Let's seal the year with another win!

Tonight the Raptors face the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Raptors are 22-11 and are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers are 10-22 and are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference. The last time they played, the Raptors won 133-113. Pascal Siakam had a game high 33 points

The Cavaliers are coming off a win against the Timberwolves. The Raptors lost by 1pt to the Thunder. Kevin Love was out against Minnesota but he is expected to play tonight.

    Potential starters:
Toronto Raptors: Lowry, VanVleet, McCaw, Anunoby, Ibaka
Cleveland Cavaliers: Garland, Sexton, Osman, Love, Thompson

Happy New Year Raptors fans! Let's hope 2020 will be just as amazing as 2019 was.

This team usually takes care of these under .500 teams. Hopefully they can get on a nice winning streak in January.
Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

16-0 this season against teams below .500. Only Milwaukee (21-0) and Lakers (17-0) are better

Should be a fun way to ring in the new year after a disappointing loss. Lots of minutes, necessarily, for the young guys. Maybe Hernandez gets some minutes?

Hernandez is hurt unfortunately. If we don't count Ponds we have 5 of 16 guys hurt (about a third of the team). Still playing close to .700 ball though, and the schedule forward is one of the easiest. There's a chance they're all back by all star break, start to gel together again and start to peak in March right before playoffs. That's my 2020 outlook and I'm sticking to it.

RHJ in for OG. I’m all out of letters.

Dont agree with OG going to bench unless it's just a 1 game kick in the ass. OG was awful playing lead with the bench unit last year

McCaw injured on a hard foul by Osman. Headed back to the lockerroom with McEchnie

I don't either, but maybe its because RHJ is a better PF than OG? They don't have a big besides Ibaka and Boucher.
