That's a solid win. Minny is bad but sometimes you come out of the gate flat and the Raps did well to bring a better effort in the 2nd half. Pretty decent contribution up and down the roster in this one. Lowry was great, so was FVV. Pascal is at least showing flashes of his early season form even if those flashes are still too few and far between.

I wish we had a SG shooting ~40% from deep, that was also explosive in transition, athletic, lengthy, had good touch around the rim, able to switch onto bigger wings, fight through screens well, help on the glass, capable of giving you 15pts per night, with good playoff experience but preferably not old and on his prime. That would be an awesome player to get. Oh wait, we have one:

Really impressed with the efficiency of Fred, Kyle and Norm last night.
Fred - 29 pts. in 29 minutes, 11 - 16 FG, 7-8 3FG, 5 RB, 2 Assists, 5 Steals, no Turnovers 0-0 FT
Kyle - 28 pts. in 28 minutes, 10 - 17 FG, 5-8 3FG, 6 RB, 2 Assists, 2 Steals, no Turnovers 3-4 FT
Norm - 20 pts. in 24 minutes, 8 - 15 FG, 1-5 3FG, 2 RB, 4 Assists, 2 Steals, no Turnovers 3-3 FT
Nobody played over 29 minutes. Gotta love the stat lines.
That's 77 points, 13 RB and 9 steals from 2 guards and 1 wing.
A nice happy feeling.

Those neon green unis looked fantastic on the screen.... if I watched through welder's glasses ....
Nurse is back to having full options again, time to make up a few games they dropped during all the injuries

Man, I haven't watched a lot of the lakers games this season but just catching some highlights this morning and the phantom and-ones where he wasn't even touched and the bogus non-charges against lebron just continues on and on .... bringing back bad memories

Yeah a tale of two halves for the Raptors. Defense wasn't that great early on. Minny was hitting everything, at least in the first quarter. The defensive energy of our every day starting rotation wasn't as good as when OG was playing the 2.. although he had a bad game. So that might have had something to do with it.
Gasol unlike the other night couldn't hit anything. So many wide open shots too. At least he's taking them, which was something he'd always pass up last year. Fred and Kyle were awesome. Fred was 7/8 from 3, 4 steals and a team high +20. Just incredible. Feels like only Kyle is the guy that looks out of place after a long rest. Norm is still being consistently good. I love when he's on the floor and we have a fast break. He's just so dialed in. He still gets those moments where he's just heading to the rim with blinders on. TD saved him by crashing the boards and getting a put back on one play. He's not going to get many whistles but if he focuses on just doing the smart play there, it'll change a big part of his game.
Pascal ended up 6/10 but it felt like he wasn't being aggressive enough. Just still looking for a big statement game from him. I think he's due, but he needs to take control of the ball and just will it.. like he was doing against teams like New Orleans, Detroit and Atlanta earlier in the year. We play Atlanta next, so he has an opportunity to do that again.
Despite only scoring 2 points, I thought McCaw was okay in this one. Good defense. Not too many blow buys. He was making good passes (even though he had 0 assists). I hope he got his 20+ minutes (22 last night) because we were just wanting to rest our starters on a second game of a B2B. But yeah, that's a stat I'll be paying attention to now that we have a full roster again.
Minny sort of sucks.. and KAT looks really disengaged. Like Beal the other night. Minny needs to blow things up and do what Memphis is doing. KAT and Wiggins were the wrong two to build around.

Expected win against a terrible team.
I just hope that the 3 previous losses that should have been wins (OKC, Portland and San Antonio) would not cost them 2nd place at the end. This team should be easily 31-11 instead of 28-14 but I will take it considering the injuries. However, Nurse could have used more of RHJ/ Boucher/ TD or even Brisette rather than McCaw during crunch time on those 3 specific games. The win against BKN was because McCaw had foul trouble, Nurse had no choice but to sit his pathetic ass.
I wont dwell too much about those losses right now because people are still clouded with euphoria after last night’s win.
Btw...Hall of Famer Patrick “moron†McCaw was a spectator once again, odd that he was still out there during garbage time, Hofers dont get that kind of treatment. Garbage time is when future Hofers are already on the bench sitting on their laurels.
P.S.
His retarded look and “contorted†body language everytime he commits a foul is quiet entertaining, lol.
