And yes, if you buy out a player, you lose all rights to them. Also, another team with cap space would almost certainly grab DeRozan's 10M off the waiver wire.

We have either 5.45 or 5.75M in cap room (depending on some confusion over DD's incentives). I lean to 5.45M, but even 5.75M is not enough for Hawes' 6.35M cap hit. Where are you getting your Hawes salary?
