Good question to ask our officials honestly.

Canada is in a much better place than the US right now.

- Testing is widely available and free (CA) vs. difficult to find and prohibitively expensive (US)
- Canada built on its experience with SARS, created Public Health Agency, put money into National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg, etc. / US did this too, until Trump cancelled all of it when he got elected and gutted public health funding
- Canada is actively working on a vaccine, using a ton of federal money; we have some of the best epidemiologists in the world / US government not putting any extra effort into mitigation
- Communication around social distancing, hand-washing etc. came early and often / US pretended it was a hoax, conspiracy, or not serious until yesterday
- Daily press briefings with updates on cases, etc. / Nothing like this in US, where they won't even release their data

I'm sure there are plenty of other contrasts, but at this point, it makes no difference. A virus is non-partisan.

Wash your hands and keep your distance.

Going to see how far back my league pass goes. I know you can watch last year cause i watched last year playoffs games. Maybe watch some of the more memorable games from earlier this season. The win vs the lakers. 30 point comeback vs mavs. Any other suggestions? or game from previous years?

11 years ago, I was talking with a close friend of mine, he is very prominent in Economics and used to tell me about his expectations concerning this and that, and in most of the cases, his expectations were so accurate. During one of our monthyl meeting, I was talking to him about a book I read under the name of " The conceited Empire" - one of the most interesting books I have ever read- in brief the book predicted the collapse of USA-. He told me that he read the book and believed in every statement in it. The book was written by Emmanuel Todd, a very famous french historian.

Any way, after the suspension of the NBA, I remembered something very strange he told me when I asked him about the timing of the collapse of USA, he was so confident when he told me that the begining of the collapse will be triggered by a collapse in the entertainment industry, he told me " When you see the movie industry and the sports industry go down, then start counting".

I can not deny that I was just shocked when I remembered his words today. On the other hand, if you look at the economic side, you will be shocked of what is happening right now the stock markets and the financial sector.

What pisses me most about those kind of pandemics, especially coronavirus (this virus was known to us for years, and we knew that one day outbreak will happen)... The World spends $1.6 TRILLION annually on military, but we don't have few billions to build rapid pandemic response team that could work on things like early vaccine development, rapid response and more.

It's a damn shame.

Rudy getting the blame but it is possible the Donovan had it first. He should have easily gave it to Rudy and never showed symptoms. But Rudy is going to have to take this one hard.
