Gosh If this wasn't on CBC I would think it's a joke, something out of Stephen Colbert/SNL or some late night comedy show:

"If you're feeling more tired than usual in the midst of this pandemic, that's normal, according to one philosopher.

As COVID-19 upends daily life, many Canadians are having to make moral calculations that are well out of the ordinary, like whether or not it's responsible to go to the grocery store or take a walk in the park.

All those new decisions could be leading some to feel moral fatigue, also known as compassion fatigue, says Fordham University law and philosophy professor Michael Baur."

Common sense is out the window folks, we've officially arrived at peak scardy-cat society.
Ah yes, compassion fatigue. Common symptom amongst leftists after pouring their bleeding hearts out all day for moral crusades. Poor guys are tuckered out being this thoughtful

All of this was warned about by virtually every county's national health authorities. On the other hand, there were probably just as many credible authorities saying that it couldn't happen now with all these national health authorities monitoring the situation. There is a lot of Monday Morning quarterbacking going on. The reports that US intelligence agencies warned the White House about the seriousness of the threat ignores previous US intelligence warnings about Iraq's weapons of Mass Destruction, climate refugees, catastrophic climate change, suitcase nukes and Al Qaeda sleeper cells in the US. It is what it is. Some governments F****d it up, some made the correct call. You tell me if the correct ones were smart or lucky.
i agree, hug a chinese was a bad idea, but whatever mayor that was still isn't at fault. every death, every infection, every dollar is see's, and the ccp's fault.

                • Alberta just opened up testing to all Albertans as of yesterday. Previously, strict guidelines were in place, though they have slowly been relaxing the rules. Anyone in Ontario and/or Quebec know what is happening there?

EDIT: Not to leave out Canadians in other provinces but this is pretty much all about Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary in order. Cookie for anyone who can guess what they have in common?

I mean, that's basically the exact order of the 4 most populous cities in Canada (obviously Toronto over MTL, but you get it) ... so I'm guessing it's that? Now where's my cookie?!

I don't think that company was federally funded - they did it on their own. Kudos to them.
