Mavs were up 5 when he left and were outscored by 13 rest of the way and their offense almost completely collapsed (3-19 from 3PT range). Absolutely the bad start hurt them but they were winning and then a huge in-game event occurred and they got run over.
Doncic gets all the credit and he is awesome but Porzingis is incredibly important for Dallas. Losing him at at that time mattered far more than any other statistic.
Losing KP at that point in the game is massive.
It's a big loss for them on both ends.

Superstar? lmao. It's hilarious how these people overrate Jimmy Butler. He's an all star just like Lowry and Siakam.

But with a 3 and 5 seeding run and one of those wins a heroic comeback effort you just said ok.. nobody get hurt.
Now they are down at the half of the first game by double digits. Its not like the Magic are doing anything different than they usually do either. And the level of emotion from the Bucks is .. shall we say.. tepid.
Its still early.
Till its not. There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Nah. Butler is way more efficient than Siakam. Way more. He has less usage (25.1 vs. 28.1), but all the advanced stats point to Butler playing at a superstar level this year. He's a 2-way player and a legit closer.Mamba Mentality

Recall that Orlando won their first game of the playoffs last year as well - how'd that turn out for the team that was playing them?
and the implications a disappointing showing could have on their future with the most coveted free agent since lebron in 2010 potentially looming.

Butler is indeed incredibly efficient for his decent usage. Similar to Lowry. But he's not transcendental in terms of production or impact like the players you usually mean when you talk superstar.
