Maybe. On the other hand things aren't going that great in Florida, I wonder if that won't factor into player decisions. From a coronavirus perspective, it's one of the worst states to host 'the bubble' in. We'll see where they're at in 4-6 weeks.

Isn't the idea of the "bubble" that it makes no difference how good or bad the COVID situation is outside since there's zero or little movement from outside to in? It's their own isolated world for 3 months....

I'm not arguing for or against, just saying there are player concerns now and I wouldn't bet on those being gone in 6 weeks. Florida's not doing great."We're playing in a building." -- Kawhi Leonard

How do you get to the bubble? And this is going to involve several hundred people at least, if not a couple thousand. How confident are the players that all involved stay 'bubbled' for 3 months? How many players are planning to bring wives and kids their with them? Or are they happier about not seeing wives & kids for 3 straight months?

Looks like there are still a lot of stumbling blocks in the way. If the players don't want to do a strict bubble, there's no way to make it work, especially with cases rising in Florida...who knows what the state will look like by July

Isn't the NBAPA's job to canvass players and represent them in talks and take actions that have player approval? Or does the league now have to negotiate with Kyrie Irving? This is ludicrous. Can't wait to hear the rationale behind the players that are now balking.
EDIT: Irving is a VP of the NBAPA! Where has he been for 2 months?Last edited by slaw; Fri Jun 12, 2020, 03:10 PM.

lol yea was just going to post this. Irving is a VP in the union. Like what was he doing when this was being discussed. Sounds like the spoiled kid that wasn't paying attention and is now saying wait a minute I don't like that. I mean wasn't he supposed to be taking this info back to the players over the last few weeks and seeking their input.
