Bucks straight up took the game off, gave the starters a few minutes to stay warm then the rest to the depth guys.

Would be interesting to see if the Nets over take the Magic for the 7th seed. I'd rather play the Nets in the first round. That's a sure fire sweep IMO.. and a great revenge opportunity for our club.

yeah...games like this make it tough to guess the lower seeding. Brooklyn gets a resting Bucks team while Orlando will probably get the full Raptor experience tomorrow.

Scary part is that the Nets didn't score that many points as a result of an unsustainable 3-point hot streak - they're only shooting 37% from 3 at the moment

Yeah 37% is just above league average. Bucks defence revolves around packing the paint, which leads to more open 3's available. You can beat them in a 7 games series by:

1. Converting ~36% of the 3's (league average), which is not super hard considering their defensive focus is not on the perimeter
2. Having a good transition game
3. Containing Giannis drive and kick, with an elite 1-1 defender on him (like OG), plus 1 or 2 bigs patrolling the paint

Raps have all three.

Nurse is rolling the Raps starters for a reason, they are all in great condition, they dedicated time off to staying fit. He wants them playing hard BEFORE playoffs start because contrary to what people think, there isn't a switch, and if the Bucks wanna coast in games, it's not, IMO and great idea.

Houston did all three and won. Interestingly took the game in crunch time, too. Didn't even have to pack the paint with bigs to stop the Giannis drive and kick, a bunch of handsy guards did the job at the end of that game. Kept stripping him of the ball/deflecting passes, he wasn't getting all the way to the rim (with the ball) and he wasn't managing his kick outs.

Other than that, Rockets just bombed piles of threes. Got killed on the boards and in the paint, but it didn't matter. Giannis layups and Lopez hook shots couldn't keep pace with 60 Houston 3PA's.

Milwaukee would certainly be a series favourite, but I really like the Raps' chances. They match up well.
