  • GAME 3: Toronto Raptors vs Boston Celtics 09/03/20 6:30 PM ET TSN

Guys, we've been here before. Down 2-0 against the Bucks in the ECF, the Raptors mounted an incredible comeback, reeling off four straight wins to punch a ticket to the Finals. This year it's different - playing in the bubble, against a different team, and Kawhi ain't walking through the door - but this series is still best-of-seven, and the Celtics haven't won four games yet.

    Projected Lineups

    Keys to the Game

    1. Buckets, Matty D - The Raptors' shooting has deserted them (bar OG and Ibaka), leading to sub-100 scores in both games of the series. It was nearly enough to win Game 2, but if they are to take four of the next five the shots need to fall at a much higher rate

    2. Bench Presence - Outside of Serge, the Raptors have not gotten much from their bench through two games. Norm isn't scoring, Davis has seen his minutes cut, Boucher was up and down and Rondae and Thomas are nowhere to be seen. We need at least seven or eight guys performing well if we're gonna pull this off

    3. Defensive Intensity - Though it was in a loss, the defence was pretty good for much of Game 2. It's going to be a grind, so there can't be any let-up on that end of the floor

    LET'S GO RAPS!!!
    The name's Bond, James Bond.

Hopefully Smart's hot shooting fizzles out.

Raps won't lose this one thanks to 007. They'll "Die Another Day"

We NEED Lowry and Fred to heat up from 3. Those guys can't keep bricking.

Made all the adjustments and they all worked. Much closer even with the shooting not being there yet. Probably win if Gasol doesn’t foul out, or Nurse doesn’t go away from Davis in the 2nd half (for more Boucher sans Lowry? Crazy), or we do anything other than isolate Siakam against Smart, or we go small late... So, room for improvement adjustment wise as well for game 3.

If the shots start falling, Raps are looking primed to be able to handle these guys. Shocking amount of their offence has relied on Smart 3’s falling.

              Raps in 6.

Its unfortunate after dropping 150 points, the Raptors start this series struggling while Smart turns into the combination of Curry, Allen and Reggie.

Last year when down 0-2, the media asked our hired assassin Kawhi Leonard where we go from here. And he delivered one of the coldest, baddest quotes I've heard.

"we go back to Toronto for game 3"

well today folks, where do we go from here?

WE GO BACK TO THE BUBBLE DOME! FOR GAME 3 BUBBLE BALL!

(yes I know the assassin is gone but he left some of his cold hearted attitude behind in these guys)

I just want to see everyone jump back on the bandwagon or get all positive after a decisive game 3 W

Well we'll see how the whole no home court advantage can workout for Raps.

I know Kemba hit 2 dagger shots in the 4th last night, but he started the game shooting 1/14 from the field. He was HORRIBLE. Brown had an ok game offensively. Last night was all Tatum and Smaht. You know Tatum is going to be Tatum. He's been amazing in this series. What if Kemba and Brown starts hitting their shots?

The Raptors simply don't have the firepower to keep up with the Celtics. Period. I know the Raptors have a great defense. But great offense beat great defense all the time.

This has sweep written all over it.
