  • Wait, what? Bogdanovic doesn't want to go to the Bucks? Huh? Wouldn't that kind of be the single most important thing to figure out in the first place?!

Hard to know who to blame here cause the Bucks technically can't talk about it but at the very least this is complete and total incompetence from the Kings.

What a mess if this doesn't go through.

    • Danny Green from 8 years ago would have been exactly what Philly needs. But man are they going to be disappointed next playoffs when he's shooting 30% on 5 3PA/game.

Maybe they're claiming this as a way to avoid tampering charges? Lol

Philly fans won't be disappointed - they'll just boo him lustily

Would you trade Malcolm Miller for Joel Embiid?
              What an idiotic question Dan.
Try a closer compare at least. .

                Is this sarcasm?
                No.
Both Turner and Olidipo haven't got it done.
Why bring them to Toronto to not get it done here ?

                  Full Details:

Man Daryl Morey is already remaking the Philly Country Club.
He just unloaded a real bad debt in Al Horford for a first in 2025 and this years 30 something pick.. and on the floor he got back some three point shooting that they never had in Green and Ferguson.

He just unloaded ~30M off his salary towards the cap and tax lines and starts to position himself for some free agent work and maybe another trade ....

Masai has his work cut out for him ...This guy is very good. Very Very Good.

That's a really good deal for Philly. Just getting rid of Horford without having to take back any bad contracts is a huge win, let alone getting Green, who is still a solid contributor, plus a legit veteran to bring some experience to the team.

                        Yes sir.
Elton Brand signed Al to be the back up centre for 112 Million dollars and an AAV around 30M/YR..
                        Bad debt.
Sold off for the surprising low salvage rate of one (4 years removed 1st round draft choice where you have no idea if it will be lottery or 28th overall) and a right now high second pick this year. And he softened that by taking on Green and Ferguson who are 3 point shooters which Philly needed. And Greens deal expires next year.

Thats really hard for Thompson... To rehab for a year only to maybe have to wait even longer or worse..
                            Hope its nuthin.

                            • The Rockets are trading Trevor Ariza and the No. 16 pick in tonight’s draft to the Pistons in exchange for a future first-round pick, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (via Twitter). Houston will also purchase the Lakers’ 2021 second-round pick from Detroit for $4.6MM as part of the swap, Wojnarowski adds (via Twitter).

                              • Ariza is traded from the Rockets (who they got for Covington) to Detroit with the #16 pick. Detroit sends a future first.. and also sold their second round to Houston for under $5M.

What this also means is that Detroit's salary cap drops to under $16M. Which could mean they are out of the running for Fred in free agency.

EDIT - actually Ariza has only $1.8M guaranteed on his deal. So if they waive him, they have enough cap space to pick up Fred if they want him.
