I think you are over rating lowry’s trade value. No chance Embid or KAT get moved for lowry.

For KAT is less likely, Lowry wouldn't put the Wolves into contention, but I could still see it if he was disgruntled and wanting out. Embiid on the other hand I'd say it's possible (at least more likely than Gannis falling on our lap for nothing). Every year Philly fans raise the question if the Simmons/Embiid duo is really their future and if it's a good fit. . There's been constant questions about his durability, maturity and even ability to stay fit. They never went past second round with him in 6 years and he never played more than 64 reg season games, Would Philly really get a whole lot more than Lowry + a bunch of picks for him from a team able to absorb Embiid's salary? Not sure there would be many.

Embiid likes Siakam and would fir right in. Lowry is from Philly, would have the chance to go for another ring in his hometown. Pipe dream I know (but then again so is Giannis)

I think they should've offered him 15. Bit insulting given the role he's played in our success and the role he'd have next year to only be offered 12 on a one year. If you're gonna offer him one year, make it a big offer. We could've done 15 and still filled out the roster and not affected the cap for next year. (unless there's something I'm missing there.)

Clearly they didn’t feel that much urgency to sign him (or how much they want to avoid the tax). That was never going to get it done.
