It's good for Raptors. There are bonuses in contracts when players achieve these types of milestones. We saving money here
Only if you put those bonuses in. Neither Fred nor OG have any incentives in their deals. I suppose could potentially play into OG's third contract supermax eligibility but that seems unlikely in any case.

          • Apparently that little 'twist' just cost Tatum a $33m bonus on his extension. That ain't right.

Since these things are tied to incentives they should just do the best 5 players, next 5 etc. No reason embiid and jokic shouldn't be 1st team. It not like these theoretical teams are taking the court

              • I would vote James Jones as the Executive of the Year

He is definitely an under the radar GM of this league

                • Van Gundy out after a year in Nawlins. They might be at a bit of a crossroads.

I have the Atlanta guy. But the Phoenix guy will probably win because of the Paul trade.

Atlanta had a better draft and did better in free agency. Crowder and Saric were good gets for Phoenix, but Atlanta got Bogdanovic, Rondo (who they moved for Lou) and got Gallo in a S&T with OKC.

Even though Phoenix ended up with the 2nd best record in the West.. Atlanta improved the most with regards to winning percentage.

Atlanta also replaced their coach mid season.

The whole construct of having contracts tied to all-NBA voting is egregious. Random members of the media costing guys tens of millions of dollars.

If we were willing to trade Nurse, we could probably get more assets than trading Lowry, LOL

                            • Donnie Nelson out as GM in Dallas. Interesting in light of the recent article about Harlabob / Doncic and Cuban. Hold on tight to our Bobby (thought I guess it would be a lateral change if the president part is filled)

Vogel should be fired in LA. Anyone who can't win with the old GOAT and the Brow needs to go
Time for someone at Klutch to take over as Coach ....
