Then as the icing on the cake, get Thybulle and a FRP from Philly for Lowry, and now you have a young, well balanced 2-way roster.

you're really picking nits using a single loss as evidence that his impact on winning is some sort of fallacy. he won three straight state titles in high school, and would have won a fourth if not for the season being halted due to COVID. he's undefeated in his USAB career, and lost a single game in college for the national title.
yes, gonzaga were favoured by 4.5 points in that game. but vegas makes their living parting fools from their money and any one who follows college ball knew baylor were every bit the powerhouse that gonzaga was. for two years they were the only two teams in college that mattered and traded spots 1 and 2 on the AP and coaches polls. gonzaga were the bigger story and talked about in historical terms throughout the tournament only because they had a chance to go undefeated, but their undefeated record was no more impressive than baylor's 27-2 going into the title game imo, considering their respective conferences.
one freshman can't beat one of the greatest college teams ever assembled on his own, and his highly touted teammates, particularly first team all american kispert, did not show up. suggs still managed to have himself a pretty good night while being guarded by "off night" (whom i also love) in the biggest game of the season.
gimme that dude all day every day over the hyper-talented other jaylen, who sounds like he projects to be a chucker that struggles defensively.

That's the one. Get this kid if our pick is outside the top 5. Need a bucket getter. He's also a 6'5" PG, would fit perfectly with FVV. Fred can get the tougher defensive assigment and on offence go space the floor as an outlet rather than dribbling out the whole shot clock, while this kid creates and put true tension on the opposing defence. Would open Pascal's game too big time.

Springer trying to create off the dribble, footwork and body type, remind me of a smaller OG. That's not necessarily all good.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Not sure if anyone has been watching tape on him, but Chris Duarte is an interesting, late lotto prospect. Older but well rounded and an abundance of skill despite a lack of explosiveness. Apparently he turned down an invite to participate in the combine which has sparked the rumour some team may have made a promise to pick him. Teams are already making moves if true.Last edited by LJ2; Mon Jun 14, 2021, 07:38 PM.

NOBODY who gets the #1 pick is trading Cade for anything less than an All-Star level player. Think the 2014 trade that sent Andrew Wiggins to Minnesota for Kevin Love. And the Raptors (and Warriors) are the only teams who would consider that trade anyway since they're going to be playoff teams next year.
