That Bucks team we beat was better than decent, Embiid and Simmons were pretty good as well, and Kawhi/George weren't good enough to get past Denver last year despite having a stacked roster, so I don't think having a star duo guarantees anything.
We also shouldn't presume to know what Masai's plan is to get us back to the top of the NBA. I agree with you that stocking up on assets and waiting for a disgruntled superstar to become available via trade isn't a reliable plan, but I also don't think that is what Masai is planning for.
Sure but if we could't guess and speculate and just sat around waiting for Masai to do whatever Masai is gonna do (assuming he stays here ) what fun would that be?
Sengun is kind of a weird but interesting prospect, non? 6'9 Euro centre that scores like a mad man, rebounding and high-skill game, but his body is deceiving or something - maybe it's the tree-trunk legs + surprisingly athletic? Centre version of Sabonis?

Very willing to bang and post up, also has nice range and can face up...interesting prospect that I will keep my eye on now.

Not sure if he's just conserving energy, but it looks like he can barely get above the rim on dunks, and he's slow off his feet. That's a bad combination and a recipe for getting stuffed repeatedly at the NBA level. Not stereotyping him as the typical Euro-stiff center, but there are some red flags there.
The Jalen Green dream is over. This team will be picking in the mid 1st round. One name to keep an eye on.
Yeah, Green looks like a can't miss all-star in the league. Here are some reviews of the high schoolers who skipped college to play vs. pros in the G-League.

Completely random I know but that "Turkey for peace" billboard at 1:49 made me cringe...
That would be a hell of a return for Norm, sign me all the way up.
Yeah, just a poor example I threw out there to see if trading picks like that would even be possible.
Many of the mock draft "analysts" out there are talking about this years draft quite highly. Raps are currently slated to pick around the 15th spot, which isn't awful, but a push into the top ten would give them a first crack at some good looking prospects.
