I see a lot of Wade in Suggs. Wade was much better for sure.. but Suggs is sneaky good. He doesn't rely on his athleticism but he's still an athlete. He could have been a QB in football (and he had game) but decided to pursue basketball instead.
Green could end up as a future scoring champ. Mobley could end up being a legit Unicorn. But I take Suggs anyway.
I see a future GROAT candidate in him.

I thought Suggs was offered a scholarship as a DB? He plays with the tenacity of a defensive football player.
I take Suggs at 2 as well. I have a feeling it will be him or Mobley falling to us.
#2 has seen a lot of big man busts (Darko, Thabeet etc.) and I think GM’s are aware of it. Houston won’t care what position porter plays or in they have Wall with this selection. Their team is horrible, they just need players. If Houston takes Green or Suggs, then I think Mobley is falling to us.

Philly needs to win a title quickly before Embiid's legs fall apart. They can't waste a year (or more) waiting on a rookie guard hoping he turns into a superstar. They need a proven guy. None of these rookies are 'win-now' guys. They are rookies who will have good games and bad games and will have all sorts of weaknesses exposed for a couple years.

Per 247Sports, Suggs received scholarships from the following schools:- Georgia
- Iowa
- Iowa State
- Michigan State
- Minnesota
- Nebraska
- Ohio State
He also received some interest to play quarterback for one of the top all-time college football coaches: Alabama's Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide coach on Friday discussed his evaluation of Suggs as a quarterback.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Morey trying his hardest to boost whatever value is left of Simmons after that playoff dud. He is projecting positivity to maximize return for Ben. Lol

Suggs. He might have a lower ceiling than someone like Green or Mobley.. but he seems like a really smart kid. So should age well. I love that he's from Minny and won't care about cold weather or wanting to run off to LA in free agency.
