Chris Finch possibly helped us by winning a few too many games late in the season, giving the TWolves pick (#6) a better chance of moving down and allowing us to jump them.

Given CP3's success in this playoffs,
plus the very fragile nature of the Nets, Clippers and the Lakers,
2022 season is wide open for anyone that can get a proven veteran leader like Lowry.

We always think of dealing Kyle,
but we are in a position to land a scorer which will be a potentially great building block going forward.
What I'm saying is how about we look at trading FVV for a proven big instead.
A Lowry - Jalen duo will be deadly for 2022.
We are set with OG and Pascal.
Future looks like Malachi- GTJ- Jalen.

I wouldn't be against this I just don't think we get the guy we need to push us over the top by just trading fred unfortunately. Even for CJ you would expect they would want the 4th pick.

Yall really set your sights high. Future GROAT candidate! Not only has he never played a pro game, or even summer league, hes never even been drafted by the Toronto raptors, lol.

Yeah it's hard not be excited about a top 4 pick but at the same time, I'm tying to keep it real for now, we don't even know who we're gonna pick. I'll wait to watch more highlights once we actually know who we're drafting. It's an easy trap to fall into but I think a good chunk of the fanbase will get really giddy about the rookie (I am), set the bar really high, then get impatient with them.

That said, this is the perfect year to pick that high, the aggregate ceiling for the top 4 this year is super high. What I wanted to ask the board & draft geeks is this: what are the chances of a bust within this group relative to other drafts? I for one don't care about who we pick within these 4; talent level/potential looks petty equivalent, as long as we don't get a spoiled egg, I'm happy.

Basically a misfire on the top 4 every year. 2018 through 2020 looking to have fewer outliers but these are recent years, a lot of the players are still settling on their roles in the league, we'll know better later on. Given this history, I won't be picky - if we can avoid the dud we're golden.
