his shot mechanics look better but not great still and its VERY slow and he isn't a super high jumper considering he is 6'9

LOL. I'm just really cynical about this stuff. At college, we had a 'special' bin for the pitching machine when scouts would come to watch a prospect take bp. Was like hitting a super, wacky, fun ball. I remember a freshman hitting one pitch like 450 feet with a half swing and there was this look of complete surprise on his face like, 'how the fuck did I do that?'. Guy thought he was Babe Ruth after that even though we told him the balls were juiced.

They'd load the pitchers up with piles of gunk in bullpen sessions, too.

Total garbage but you'd be surprised how well it worked.

If the Cavs keep their pick I can totally see them taking Kuminga or Barnes.

If that were the case, I would be on team Green over Suggs, but I would be ecstatic with either. I've been on cloud 9 since the lottery. I thought originally that it would calm talks down, considering we just pick whoever is left in the top 4. But I guess the republic has to debate something.

I think it is connected in a way. Why would you draft mobley AND trade for wiseman... seems a bit redundant. Mobley doesn't really seem to project as a PF.


Fair point on discussing the rumor but I don't think it makes sense which is why I don't think it has any legs. I think GSW would LOVE to do this trade.

You wouldn't, but the assumption is Mobley will be gone before the 4th pick, if he is there then we don't do the trade and we take Mobley 4th overall.

What this trade really depends on is how you value Wiseman though, if you don't think highly of him then this trade is bad value and a hard pass. I'm unsure on him so willing to listen to both sides, seems like he has fans and detractors on this board and we've got 1 month to kill before the draft.

What sucks is that the draft go first prior to free agency.

Wiseman will be a bust. Just like other #2 picks in the draft including: Bagley, Parker, MKG, Williams, Thabeet, Beasley, Okafor, Darko, etc, etc.

Of course the Warriors want to give him up.

At the end of the day its Pascal for some salary dump and their #7 pick. It's a crappy deal. Forget it. If Masai takes that I hope he quits.
