I like Kuminga, but I think he is a tier below the other guys. Though he was quite impressive in the g league last season. I can see him having a similar career as MKG

Your probably right but someone is going to take him early. And I think he can play PF And as far as Suggs I think teams are going to go for the bigger guards first.

Sengun has Kangz written all over him. Drafting bust centers is what they do.

If I'm a GM of a team that is picking in the top 10, I would stay the hell out of Sengun. He's like Kanter. Big guy, really skilled offensive/post player but the guy plays zero defense. Are they hoping he becomes the next Jokic? it's very unlikely but let's say he's Jokic 2.0 - I have some bad news, Jokic is a great player but Denver is not going to win anything with him as their best player.

The more realistic comp though is Kanter. Really hope the Raptors stay away from this guy.

Kanter isn't a good comp for him because Sengun is an NBA power forward rather than a center and he brings more to the table offensively than Kanter does; Sengun is a better shooter from distance, better at free throws, a better passer, and has a wicked steal rate (and that alone puts him above Kanter defensively). If you want a comp for him, it's probably Kevin Love, whose UCLA stats were slightly below Sengun's Turkish stats almost across the board and who is about the same size - basically, a player with undeniable offensive talents, can certainly help you to a ring, but definitely not the #1 guy on a team.

I don't particularly want Sengun because I think he's a #2 or #3 offensive option masquerading as a #1 and because he's a big with questionable defense, but he should have a good NBA career.

Detroit should do it. They'd be better off with Green + Hayes instead of Cade + Hayes and all the wings they have.

I can see the raptors getting a second pick by trading boucher and trying to grab one of the guys that falls I don't think they trade down though.

I disagree. Look at the impact of CP3 on the players around him. Cade gets players involved, scores without having to dominate the ball and defends. I think he will impact wins a lot more than Green. Green reminds me more of a Beal type player and we'll Detroit should avoid using Washington's template for success.

Yeah, if Detroit wants out of Cade I'd think it's be for the proto-centre Mobley or the steady-hand-at-the-wheel Suggs. They are already flush with athletes.

By that benchmark, it doesn't make sense for them to draft Green either because they have Sexton already and he's already a 20ppg scorer. I mean, Mobley is at least likely an upgrade at the 5 over Allen, who's a good center but nothing transcendent. Green basically has to Kobe out in order to be significantly better than Sexton is.

Well, Green/Suggs are a major upgrade over Sexton. You're talking like Sexton's the second coming of Iverson. I always view Sexton as a 6th man. I believe he averaged 24ppg last year? It's easy to put up big numbers on a bad team. If Kyle Kuzma played for the Cavs, he'd average 24ppg too.

Anyway, there are rumours now that Sexton is on the block, I don't think it matters if they trade him or not. If the Cavs decide to keep him they should still take one of the guards. Move Sexton to the bench and make their 6th man.
