Tolzman was on record saying Raps would draft the best talent. To me that means the most naturally gifted with physical tools and Barnes is the guy everyone is talking about in that regard.

And that fastbreak offense will the first thing to be taken away in the playoffs, as we’ve seen before. Since Nurse took over, the Raps have already been one of the top transition teams….. in the regular season.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

he said best player available not best talent. also talent isn't physical tools. Kuminga has higher upside. Are you sure you aren't this man's agent?
No definitely not Barnes' agent, just see things a bit differently than you guys. I was/am the only one here down on Keon when everyone here was/is high on him. I was also the only one talking about Bouknight early on because people were only talking about the consensus guys.
I might be completely off about Barnes, Bouknight and Keon, but I'm giving my opinions either way.

No he said best talent actually. Kuminga certainly is up there but Barnes is bigger, incredibly fluid and has a way bigger arsenal of skills.

I like green cause I want to see some highlight dunks do I think he is going to be Kobe probably not.
I like Mobley cause deep inside I want to see us make a twin towers Mobley/ queta
i like Barnes cause I am a fan of big guards…I am a closet Kyle Anderson fan.
There are no old school shooting guards in this draft…give me a Reggie Miller any day of the week twice on Sundays.
I will be happy as long as we don’t reach on suggs

Not based on front office intel. It's based on their own ranking based on talent

Who are these talent evaluators? Are they internet basement dwellers? Do they have any credibility or track record that makes them worth listening to any more than our own T-Rex? lol.

When I originally watched all four guys play, I came away liking Suggs the best (even before I knew we got the fourth pick)... mind you I only watched Cade twice, verse 5 or 6 times for each of the other guys.

It's hilarious that the front office would give a best talent quote and people would assume that means a reach. That's... quite the opposite of what it means.
Now, whether to believe that quote is a whole other thing, but if we are presenting that quote as evidence of anything, it's evidence that they'll take whoever is left of the top 4.
