This to me is the killer "stat." He is where he is in basketball while spending his time in the bball off season working on a completely different skill set. How much does he progress with 2-3 years devoted to improving his basketball skills and knowledge?

I've heard a lot of good things about Cade, but never that he is a generational type of talent. You'd expect he will turn into a franchise guy, but SGA is showing he can be one as well.

Chad Ford is obsessed with Barnes. He’s been going on about him for months. Every person that comes on his pod will pick Suggs but he always tries to make a case for Barnes.

I think he is partly trying to get clicks. Raptors in my honest opinion will not shock the world and pick Barnes. Heck I'd even put money on the notion that we will either trade up or pick suggs. We aren't reaching and if we do it won't be for Barnes. Suggs provides too much to not take that safe bet.... its just too good of a safe bet.

Sam was still picking his nose at Virgina Wesleyan College in ‘96 wherever that is lol.

I am talking about his better odds of picking a good to great player with 3 FRPs or could go the other way as well as you pointed out….however it is not necessarily that he will select BPA but the need of his team. He is on full rebuild and is trying to find a core at each basketball position.

96’ scouting strategies is easily different compared to this decade scouting with all the advance stats and technology available at his disposal

Raps always being so secret about their moves and hearing Suggs speak about them at his media avail, it feels like he isn't our pick. I'm conditioned to not expect the obvious when it comes to the Raps.
