I don't see what OKC would get from it.

SGA is eligible to sign a projected five year $168 million rookie scale extension and they are not interested of doing that. Paying a rook on a rookie scale contract while hoping that the player turns out to be a franchise player within that period would satisfy Sam Presti.

I understand though the push back of this forum anything about Jalen “Jesus the next savior” Suggs not being pick, so it’s all good

How realiable Fischer is, that is the question.

However if there is some truth to this then it seems OKC is persistent.

So Shai + no.6 for Raps no.4, they may eventually consider.

No. 6 + Lowry for Simmons
or
No.6 + Van Vleet/ Boucher for Simmons

SAN ANTONIO - According to The Ringer's Kevin O'Conner on "The Mismatch" podcast, the San Antonio Spurs reportedly turned down an offer for Sixers' Ben Simmons.

And apparently, it was a steep price.

O'Conner says the 76ers wanted a haul from the Spurs that included the Spurs sending Philadelphia one of their young core players and much more.

There's so much stuff floating out there right now about the Sixers having outrageous demands like wanting four first-round draft picks, and three pick swaps, and a young player from the Spurs they say now.
All these deals you hear about are outrageous. Nobody will do it for Ben Simmons.

If OKC was hell bent of getting rid of Shai and getting Cade at the same time but got turned down, they are after another player similar to Shai’s and Cade’s skills set, why I think they are after the no.3 pick…They know that Houston are after Green.

So no.3 is a vital slot for them to take a coveted player in lieu of Cade. They don’t want the Cavs to get first dibs of Suggs, unfortunately Cavs turned down giving up 3.

Raptors will have the leverage especially if Cavs pick Mobley. They have no choice but to give up no.6 and Shai for 4

Shai is a big guard, a bigger one than Suggs. I'd assume with the 3rd pick OKC was targeting Mobley, not Suggs.
