Anyways, i'm done with all these Mobley talk because it's all moot anyway. The Raptors will likely be picking 7th or 8th.

Likely, yes, but a 32% chance at top 4 is nothing to sneeze at. Heck, it's nearly double the odds they pick at 7 (19%) and not dramatically less than the odds they pick 8th (48%), assuming they are alone in the 7 slot going into the lotto.

The Bulls moved from 7th to 4th last year. Can it happen in back to back years? I really doubt it. There's a lot of great wingers in this draft(what they need) so i'm fine drafting 7th or 8th.

I wonder what it would take to trade for the 5th overall pick. 7th(or 8th) + ?
In a draft like this though, trading up to the top 5 will be very difficult, unless the team in the 5th slot really doesn't like Kuminga, who seems like the consensus 5th pick a tier below the top 4 and a tier above the rest, and after whom it is very flat.

Why trade up to 5th? You like Kuminga that much?

I'd bite Adam Silver's hand off to draft Mobley tho.

If we get any one of Cade, Green, Suggs or Mobley, I'd call it a major success.
The likelihood is we draft 7th or 8th, but the chances of drafting in the top 4 or falling to 8th is fairly similar. Just have to hope the ping pong balls falls our way.

Can it happen? Yes. There's a 32% chance we can move in to the top 4. As you say though, I think the Raptors can add a good player that can help us in this draft. Barnes, Johnson, Mitchell, Moody all look good to me if we don't move up. And I'm sure there will be other prospects that do well in workouts and enter the conversation.
