Holmes is indeed a realistic target due to Sacramento being terrible at managing a team. Good age alignment with the core, quick enough to fit in the defensive scheme without being a twig like Boucher.
If they go the FA route, he's certainly one of their likely targets. The others being RFA targets.do you put in an offer sheet for guys their teams don't seem interested in? John Collins in ATL (do they prefer to have cap room this summer?), Jarrett Allen is interesting though CLE is very likely to match anything, you just wonder if there is a ceiling to that, could even try to pry Lonzo away considering NOP seem not particularly attached.
But I think another fairly likely outcome is they come to an agreement to re-sign Lowry on a two year deal, keep Trent for 10-15M, and guarantee Hood or Baynes to use them as filler in a trade to address the C position. If a Turner type ends up getting moved, that sort of idea.
In both cases I'm pretty sure they are set on holding onto the new core 4 (FVV, OG, Trent, Siakam) and building around them to win immediately.

The one thing that I think is going to hurt us in free agency is Kyle Lowry. We are not a team with cap space if he comes back. If he finds a new home we are.. but if that decision takes a long time, we could lose on some important free agents (like Holmes).
Also there is the Trent Jr RFA looming. If he finds an offer elsewhere, we have only 2 days to match. That is only 48 hours to figure out if Lowry is staying or not.. If we match Trent's offer, but lose Lowry we are a capped team anyway. Basically the worst case scenario.

After 10 minutes of youtube I think I'd go for Barnes or Cunningham. I haven't watched a minute of Suggs so take this with the biggest grain of salt on this planet, but I do not want another short guard. I want size, defensive IQ, and playmaking. Both Barnes and Cunningham have these (Barnes might be the best defender in the draft). Both those guys can play either guard position and fit well with Fred, offsetting his deficiencies while potentially enabling Pascal's strengths. Haven't watched a minute of Mobley either. I'll get on that.

Reporting back 7 minutes later. Mobley is a hard no, Suggs would be a fine pick if we didn't have Fred. I hate drafting based on fit but this is a slightly different situation. Suggs doesn't seem transcendent, and this team is ready to compete immediately.

What are your thoughts on 9/11, or Hillary Clinton being a lizard? I'll wait.9 time first team all-RR, First Ballot Hall of Forum

Why wait, did we not learn anything from Kawhi?
Regardless though, move on without Kyle if you can't get a sign and trade done or he won't sign for 1 year and 20M

Really doubt Trent comes back for $10M as well, it's gonna take more than that, $15M is probably right.
Atlanta is going to get something back for Collins, they won't just let him walk. Maybe we could get him with a draft pick and filler.
