I don't see Barnes going higher than 5, but like I've been saying he's the most fluid moving guy among the forwards. That size and length along with tenacity in D could potentially bump Kuminga from 5. I'd be surprised if he cracks the top 4 because that would mean someone had really bad workouts.

Pistons - Cade
Rockets - Green
Cavs - Suggs
Raps - Mobley
Orlando - Kuminga

Sac - Keon
Nola - Wagner
Everyone keeps talking about the Rockets history of big men. That was back in the 80's and 90's lol. Like most of the teams in the NBA they're now a run and gun team. Green is the perfect fit. He has the highest ceiling in this draft and he's also the most marketable player in this draft.
As for the Cavs, yes they have Sexland on their team. But I always view Sexton as a 6th man like a Jordan Clarkson type. So why not draft Suggs and pair him up with Garland? they already have their big in Allen. I guess the only question is do they want to give Allen a 100 million contract? because he's a RFA and he's going to command that kind of money. If they don't want to commit to Allen long term then I could see them drafting Mobley.

In all honesty, having the fourth pick in this draft is actually less stressful then the second or third.
The top four picks are a class of their own this draft class with very high upside. Having the fourth means your pick is much easier since you take who is left.
Ideally, I would love Mobley to fall the most realistically (I dont see any chance Cade falls to four) but if I had to put money on it, we end up with Suggs. I feel Green being drafted by Houston would be maybe the only thing that may change the order just based on the team order. Picking the remainder of the four makes the choice just such a no brainer since these four would all be first picked in a different year.
No need to overthink on this one: you take who remains.Last edited by Just Is; Thu Jun 24, 2021, 03:47 PM."My biggest concern as a coach is to not confuse winning with progress." - Steve Kerr

It's just really difficult to say if Raps see the top 4 in the same way. Cade and Mobley are probably there but maybe Green is considered a non system player sort of like a Westbrook...difficult to coach type. And Suggs is considered to have a lower ceiling similar to FVV.
Green got a chip on his shoulder and was quoted recently in saying (not direct quote) that if he went to college, he would drafted number 1 cause he works harder then his peers. I can see an already a start to a rocky relationship with Nurse as he won't get the minutes he would want right away until he doesn't learn the system, defend properly, or pass more to get his teammates involved.
I am sure the Raptors have their own process and will be looking hard at other players especially if they fit into their culture or they think they were underused in College/G-league and their own training staff can get a whole lot more out of them.
Decision will also hinge on what they are going to do with Kyle and GTJ.

Year one for most rookies don't pan out.. I'd prefer to keep Lowry and have Suggs.
A Lowry/Fred/Jalen/Malachi four-some is exciting. Can mix and match with any guy. Remember McCaw got 25 mpg as the backup PG in a season where we had a 60 win pace. You could even have Suggs out there as a 3 in a small ball line up. Backing up OG or Trent.
Lowry will only be good for like 50 games + playoffs anyway. Suggs will start when Lowry is load managing.
It's Harris that will be the odd man out with Suggs here. But it is what it is.
