I told you this is gonna happen. Cade is not a sure thing to go 1st. He's not the best player in this draft.

honestly I like things about all four of the top 4.
Suggs looks like possible franchise pg with clutch attributes. Great defender with grit. His passing is next level. Trending towards being a good perimeter shooter.
Jalen Green looks like a flame thrower, and has the drive to be great. Will be a go to player on offence. Has the physical attributes and motor to be a good defensive player.
Mobley has ridiculous skills for his height, runs the floor well, has a soft touch around the basket (with some post moves), and has a nose for the rebound/put back. Great on D
FVV
Trent Jr.
OG
Siakam
Mobley
I'm pretty damn excited over that line up.

Rumors before about Detroit and Casey’s interest on Van Vleet when he was a free agent/ prior to Van Vleet re-signing back and this offseason as well.
Raptors should do their due diligence.
Raptors can trade their no.4 pick and Van Vleet to get to no.1 and a Detrout player or two.
Cade Cunninghan is a perfect fit along side Siakam/ OG and GTJ with Flynn as a back up.
Boucher by himself with his value at its highest with a future FRP can elicit a bigman (Indiana) return

I know we really need a shot creator/clutch scorer type guy, but it really does make a lot of sense in this situation to take Mobley. He would fit a position of need and there would be no issues with trying to fit Trent Jr. into the starting tine up.

If Suggs or Green are available, you don't look away from them because of Trent Jr., but I'd be fine with any of the top 4, so we'll see how it goes.

Trent Jr. has had some good moments as a Raptor in a crazy season, he has also had bad ones, which aren't entirely his fault, but I wouldn't say he deserves a guaranteed starting spot yet.

Whereas, Trent Jr. is a know and we know when he plays with the starters he produces, and we know he's been playing behind some guys in Portland that slowed his development. He could very well end up better than either of the Green's.

I hear what you're saying, but you're talking about unknown commodities when you speak about draft prospects. How many prospects on average from each draft turn into respectable starters much less stars? We're talking about the top four and the rest of the lottery picks like each one is a going to be a force in the NBA when there is far more likelihood several go the way of Anthony Bennet, Jimmer Fredette etc.

Its up to the front office to determine who the BPA is, but in this case, we don't have a choice really, we take who ever is left between Suggs, Cade, Green and Mobley.

Hopefully it's not the Raps going "off the board" but you know in hindsight there will be a better 6-10 than 1-5 and fans will say "they didn't draft X all star instead of Y washout.

Detroit taking Cade or not, there's also a decent chance that the consensus top 4 don't go 1-2-3-4

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Can't believe so many of you still think we will keep Lorwry. He is as good as gone. We already have too many guards that need minutes and we're about to draft another. Even if we end up with Mobley we are still gonna let Lowry go. Masai made that very clear to me in his post season presser, we are developing to win another championship, not just trying to make the playoffs. Keeping Lowry is a very short term lets make the playoffs move. We need all the guard minutes to develop the future of this team (and just figure out who belongs in the future), guys that will be here in 3+ years when we're ready to contend again.
