Suggs at 2, Barnes at 3, Mobley at 4, Green at 5. Then things get nuts: Ziaire Williams at 6, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (!) 9, Ayo Dosunmu (!!) 11, Chris Duarte 12, Cam Thomas at 14. He's got Herbert Jones ranked above Moses Moody and Jaden Springer, and Neemias Queta ranked above Jalen Johnson, who he's got at #30.

To make such drastic changes the writer would have had to have had access to all these guys' workouts. And if that was the case you'd be seeing drastic changes to all the other big boards as well. Perhaps he's just trying to generate view by being drastically different?

my issue from the tournament I watched last season davion Mitchell is clearly better than Suggs and I would put giddy above Suggs to. I am just not seeing what another people are seeing
I went back and watch at least 10 times now. We just traded Norman Powell this kid doesn’t look anything close to that good.Last edited by grindhouse; Fri Jul 9, 2021, 10:28 AM.

Georgia,Ohio State, Nebraska and of course Minnesota his home state all recruited him.
All round athlete.
If we get him we will be happy ...
If we get any one of those top 4 guys we will be happy.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Does anyone think that Cleveland trades out of 3 with Orlando who absolutely need a ball handling backcourt star ?
There are 3 of them in the draft.
None of them rojected to fall to 5.
Or maybe OKC with a bazillion and a half FRP picks over the next decade makes a move to get into the top 3 after just getting boned by the ping pong balls?
OKC could have had two of the five FRP this year if things went almost to chalk.
OKC went in at 4th and had a 50% shot at Houstons pick if it fell to 5.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

basically suggs is good he just isn't the SEXY pick but he will be good like more than good. Likely a better version of Malcolm Brogdon.
Sounds pretty sexy to me.

I do agree that Cleveland is the big question mark at #3 but it will depend on a match.
I just think from Toronto's perspective that the #4 pcik nets you Mobley (a good prospect at a position of need), Green (offensive firepower that is desperately needed) or Suggs (playmaking PG with an all-court game that is also desperately needed). Raps can use any of those guys straightaway and don't really need the player to make an impact but just play hard and improve.

I didn't watch the vid, but he's probably underrated on the SEXYness spectrum as well. He's is a high-floor, win-now point guard that can lead a team at age 20, electrify an audience with dunks and highlight passes, work the media, play shooting guard, AND put butts in the seats.
Sounds pretty sexy to me.

Yes, I'm sure teams desperate for players are lining up to move their top 4 picks for the 29th pick in the 2025 draft and the 22 pick in the 2027 draft. Just like Boston before them, I get the feeling OKC is going to end up eating a lot of those picks and looking at scores of deep rotation players they have no room for.

I also don't think the pick will JUST IMPROVE. They will have 3-5 years before their prime and really show significant elevation in their game. It raises our current teams ceiling even if we take a slight step back from where we were two years ago.Last edited by TrueTorontoFan; Fri Jul 9, 2021, 12:13 PM.

They own all their picks which look to be high lottery for a couple more years.
They own the Clips picks for a decade it seems and if Leonard leaves those picks will be low teens or perhaps even lottery.
The own a couple of Heat picks which will be post Dragic and when Jimy Buckets is 36 years old.
It is a risk.
But you never know.
